Fallout 4 gaming stats

The first source i have chosen is an internet source called http://www.pcgamesn.com/. The reason why i have chosen this website because from past experience this is very reliable website for quantitative research such as statistics, my first statistic about the game Fallout 4 is that it had over $750 million worth of sales since it's release. This site is different to the other ones i will be talking about because this shows just PC games and not PlayStation statistics or Xbox statistics, unlike a website like GameSpot that shows the statistics of all different games consoles. i feel this website is very reliable and all there information is always up to date, easy to find and very reliable, especially there quantitative data that is always very detailed. I feel the people who would use this website would definitely be PC and Computer gamers because this is a very strong source of information and appeals to just PC and Computers so they can focus heavenly on just that.

The second source of information is a much bigger world known website called http://www.gamespot.com/reviews/fallout-4-review/1900-6416306/ the reason i chose this website is because GameSpot is a huge website with fairly reliable information, unlike PCGAMES.COM they cover a larger range of consoles and games, instead of statistics i have chosen to use a scoring from GameSpot, they rated Fallout 4 a 9/10, they give valuable information about the game in general hardly any quantitative research unlike PCGAMERS.COM. I feel that this is fairly reliable but because it is a bigger website they have to give positive reviews because they appealing to a bigger audience, also i think because it is a bigger website they have to bias towards the game, even though it isn't as reliable as other sources, GameSpot can still be given credit for there great reviews and some quantitative research about the games they're reviewing. In my opinion GameSpot is for the casual and maybe the serious gamer that wants to read an in depth review on the game with a scoring that reflects the actual game, and the way it plays, the scoring system for games is very useful because it allows the writer to summarise the game up with Quantitative research E.G- 9/10

The final source of information that i will be looking at is another review but from a very bias website with not much valuable information http://uk.ign.com/articles/2015/11/09/fallout-4-review?page=2 the reason i chose this review is because they're renown for being bias and being 'bribed' by gaming companies to give there game high reviews, although they give valuable information about the game that could be useful to a casual gamer who wants to know more about the game it doesn't give any quantitative research apart from the rating out of Ten at the end. i think the viewers of this review would be casual gamers who would like to learn more about the overall feel about the game before they purchase it this is why i although bias, it still gives interesting information about the game in general but isn't great for a serious game that wants a none bias review before he/she purchases the game. Although they're normally very useful, ratings on IGN are never useful because they're very bias and don't give an honest opinion of the game, GameSpot normally give a none bias review so depending on the website ratings can be extremely useful because it rounds of the review with a rating system and it is great for readers to have.

The locations for Fallout 4 range all around the world, but they're mostly in western countries such as America, UK and other places in Europe, it appeals to western countries because it is set in a dystopian future in America (Boston) i also feels it appeals to a western audience because you play as an American Soldier Or Doctor, This is why it appeals to a western audience because it gives a Western 'feel' to the game, on the other hand i think it appeals to an audience that isn't Western, such as middle east and Asia because throughout history America and Middle Eastern countries have had conflicts, Fallout 4 gives a negative look on America and the way it is being 'controlled' by the Government which some countries and the people in some countries would agree with because it appeals to there opinions and how they feel.
