Unit 32 Assignment 2 Ident Research

What ident i will have?
i will have a mixture of Live Action and After Effetcs, i feel this is important because i can appeal to both a younger and an older audience, After Effects can give me amazing animations and the Live action can help me connect my characters with the audience. I feel this is a great idea because having a mixture will make the Ident more fun, easy to look at and the Ident will be better for the audiences viewing pleasure.


I will cater to my audience by appealing to a mass audience, i feel i will do this by choosing an Ident that the audience can relate too such as mainstream music, by choosing mainstream music i can target a younger more vibrant audience,by appealing to a younger audience i can relate to them more in terms of ideas for my ident. In terms of audience age i think an age range of 16-34 would be appropriate because of the ideas i want to include.

Who is my target audience?
my target audience will be a younger age range around 16-34, i feel this is the best age range because although a younger audience, it still has older generations that i can use to my advantage 25-34, I feel his is the best target audience because i have based my channel similar to ITV 2, this channel targets a much younger audience, this is why i feel i should target a younger audience because they are also more likely to watch music than an older generation.

I feel i will capture the spirit of ITV in many different ways. The first way i feel capture it will be playing pop music but also i will add retro music into the mix, i feel this will attract a mass audience and not just a young audience, it will attract a bigger audience because the audience will relate to the music involved whether it is old or new music.
